The Whales Way Restaurant & Bar is located within the Pandanus Palms Holiday Resort and is open for lunch & dinner Wednesday to Sunday 10.00 am - 10.00 pm.  The cafe & art gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday for coffee and cake and they are also happy to cater fo any special events, including breakfast.  In-room catering & BBQ packs are also available when the restaurant is open.  Childrens meals are also avaialble.

The small but well cared for swimming pool is great for frolicking in the sun and relaxing with family. Located adjacent to the villas, it is cleverly designed to make the most of the sun but also offering shade to keep cool. The pool deck is superbly located and is surrounded by tropical plants and is a great place to just relax and unwind after a busy day.

Our full sized tennis court is located within the complex near the pool and is shaded by some of the spectacular local trees. Racquets and balls are available for hire from the front office or bring your own & have a hit.

Games Room with pool table and multi game (60 games) machine is located under the restaurant and available for use during office hours.

For the great Australian meal, every apartment has its own BBQ facilities free of charge, so there is no waiting to use the BBQ.

We offer a laptop in reception for public use and all guests with their own laptop are able to access our user pays high speed internet from the comfort of their own villa.

Just some of the exciting activities on offer include 4WD safaris, a golf course, ropes course, scuba diving, fishing charters, sand boarding, and sea kayaking tours.

There is truly something for everyone on Straddie. The abundance of wildlife on the island is also impressive, with whales seen from your balcony (June to November), dolphins, turtles and manta rays often spotted from the spectacular North Gorge. Birdwatching is also popular, with many of the inland waterways attracting migratory species each year.
