How far are you from Hastings Street or Gympie Terrace?

The world famous Hastings Street and Noosa Main Beach are less than 2km away. Gympie Terrace and all the river has to offer is only a short stroll.

Are there any restaurants within walking distance?

Yes, there are a number of fabulous restaurants and cafés within walking distance. We have a number of recommendations included in the guest information compendium found in your suite.

How far are you from Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Airports?

At The Sound is 30 km or half an hour by car from the Sunshine Cost Airport.

Brisbane Airport is approximately 1.5 hours’ drive or 130kms away.

We are happy to assist with organising bus transfers or a hire car.

FACILITIES

Is there car parking available?
There is undercover parking on the property for one car per suite.

Is the pool heated?

No, however being a north facing pool and Noosa being blessed with a lovely warm climate it is warm for most of the year.

Is there an outdoor spa?

Yes there is an outdoor spa next to the pool. It is heated 12 months of the year.

Do you have a BBQ?

Yes we have a BBQ with seating in a lovely shady spot near the pool. We also offer a BBQ basics pack with oils and condiments for our guests to use free of charge.

Do you have bike hire?

Yes we offer free bike hire to our guests, subject to availability.

What is the ocean temperature in Noosa?

We are very lucky here being able to swim all year round. Find answer on BOM and pull out averages with temperature.

Does At The Sound have a free service tour desk?

Yes, we offer a FREE booking service for all of the tours and theme parks and attractions that are available on the Sunshine Coast and beyond. We have extensive knowledge of the Sunshine Coast and happy to chat with and advise you on all the activities. We also encourage you to wait until you arrive to obtain the tickets as you can be charged extra for booking fees and credit card fees if you book on-line for some of the activities.

Weddings in Noosa

As we offer well priced overnight accommodation, At The Sound is the perfect place for your guests to stay whilst here for your wedding.

We are close to many wedding venues and even within walking distance to such restaurants as Ricky’s and Wasabi, both popular wedding venues.

Romantic Getaways in Noosa

At the Sound is perfect for romantic getaways in Noosa, especially in one of our spa suites. The suites are lovely and spacious and being so close to many fabulous restaurants Noosa makes for a special getaway. Ask about our romantic packages.

Fraser Island

Why not use At The Sound as your base to explore the beautiful Fraser Island. As we offer overnight stays many of our guests stay for the night, go on a 1, 2 or even 3 night adventure on Fraser Island and then come back to At The Sound for another night before heading to their next destination. We are happy to store your luggage at no extra cost whilst you go on your adventure.

Are pets allowed?

We all love our pets but unfortunately due to health regulations we are not able to accommodate your fury or feathered friends.

ACCOMMODATION

What type of accommodation do you have?

At The Sound has 22 boutique style studio suites.

There are 2 types of suites. Garden view suites and spa suites.

How many people can fit in a studio suite?

The studio suites are perfect for a couple and have a queen size bed.

Extra guests can be accommodated at just $30 per night with a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children in a room.

The extra guests can be accommodated in a sofa bed in all room types. Alternatively, some of the spa suites have single beds. Children can also be accommodated in a rollaway.

Can baby equipment like cots and high chairs be organised?

We have 2 cots available for $15 per day.

If you require a high chair or other baby equipment we are happy to organise this for you. Please contact us with what you require and we can provide details of the cost.

What is the difference between the spa and garden suites?

All garden view suites are ground floor with a garden courtyard.

The spa suites have a spa bath in the room and are located on the first floor with a balcony.

There are also 2 spa suites located on the ground floor.

Are all the apartments the same size?

With the exception of the 2 spa suites with single beds on the first floor, all of the suites are the same size.

What is the check-in and check-out times?

Normal check-out time is 10.00am, if you require a later departure time this will be subject to availability on the day and charges may apply. If you need to leave early please leave your key in the blue key box opposite reception.

Normal check-in time is 2.00pm, however if you arrive early and the apartment is available we are happy for you to check-in early. If we have guests in the apartments the night before then we will have the apartment ready for you as quickly as possible after they depart at 10.00am and we would be happy to look after your luggage until check-in is available.

What are your office hours?

Office Hours:

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

Saturday: 9am to 4pm

Sunday and Public Holidays: 9am to 12pm

If we were to arrive after your office is closed, how do we gain access?

We do have an after-hours procedure which is very simple.

Please contact the office if you are planning on arriving after hours and we will provide all the details. We will then catch-up with you on the following morning for registration. We also always provide you with a contact number in the un-likely event that you have any difficulties with obtaining your keys.

What are the facilities in the suites?

All the suites are self-contained with a kitchenette, lounge / dining area, queen bed and bathrooms with showers and a spa in the spa suites. There is also a washing machine and dryer in each.

Are the suites air-conditioned?

Yes, all the suites have air-conditioners.

Do the suites have a DVD player?

No, but we do have DVD players in reception that you can borrow and a selection of DVDs to choose from.

Do you provide the bedroom and bathroom linen?

All the bed linen and the bathroom towels are provided, however you might like to bring your own beach / pool towel but if not, we do have extra towels available for hire at a nominal cost.

How often are the rooms serviced?

Rooms are not serviced daily. However, if you would like fresh towels or any other amenities please see reception.

If you would like your room serviced daily, please see reception. A room service fee will apply.

For stays of more than 7 days the room will be serviced mid stay or weekly.

Are the suites non-smoking?

Smoking is not permitted in the suites and if smoke is detected there will be extra charges for cleaning and deodorizing of the apartment, however you may smoke on the balcony or courtyard with the doors firmly closed to ensure that there is no smoke wafting into the apartment.

Can you arrange for flowers or champagne for our arrival?

Of course, nothing is too much trouble, just let us know what you would like for that special someone or to treat yourself.
